Representaives from over 100 colleges and universities will attend the 25th Annual Kern County College Night on Monday, September 9, 2024. The Kern County Superintendent of Schools office, in conjunction with the Kern High School District, California State University, Bakersfield, Taft College and Bakersfield College, annually host the annual Kern County College Night at the Mechanics Bank Convention Center. The annual event attracts thousands of students and parents to explore higher education options.

Parents and students can browse booths representing colleges, universities, technical and trade programs. Local high school and college counselors will be available to answer questions.

Information sessions beginning at 5:15 p.m. will cover topics including:

College Athletics
Scholarships
Public Colleges (2 & 4 Year)
Competitive Colleges
