A lot of your education also happens outside the classroom. That’s why Alfred State has more than 100 clubs and organizations from which to choose. Alfred State offers 19 intercollegiate sports, as well as plenty of intramurals.

Where you live on campus is also important. Alfred State’s 14 residence halls offer a comfortable setting, and are designed to fit the needs of our diverse student body.

Alfred State is located in the rural village of Alfred, which lies in the scenic foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. Within a couple hours of the college, you’ll find attractions such as Niagara Falls, Letchworth State Park, and Finger Lakes wineries.
